Onboard gastronomy will continue the tradition of French cuisine served on NYK cruises. Kenji Hayama, executive chef of the Lady Crystal, will create menus made with carefully selected Japanese ingredients.
The cruise ship will have an overall length of 48 meters, a beam of 9.5 meters, and a draft of 2.1 meters. Its construction is being carried out by Maehata Shipbuilding, Sasebo, Nagasaki, and its operating area will be Tokyo Bay, based in Tennoz.
