(1:27 p.m. EDT) — Silversea has launched its first S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) Culinary Voyages, with itineraries designed around exploring each destination through food, flavors and people.
Titled "Grape Harvest," the collection includes seven sailings across Portugal, Spain, France and the United Kingdom, timed to Europe's fall harvest season.
The voyages are built around four themes – Gather, Craft, Celebrate, and Indulge – highlighting regional ingredients, traditions and culture. Guests can enjoy culinary activities onboard and ashore, including wine tastings, chef-led meals and culinary demonstrations.
Sailing aboard Silver Dawn and Silver Spirit, the collection features a range of culinary-focused shore excursions. Highlights include a private port-blending session in the Douro Valley, a Michelin-chef-led lunch at Château du Prince Noir in Bordeaux, a truffle hunt at Château Royal de Cazeneuve and a hands-on cooking session with a countess at a historic estate in northern Portugal.
The Grape Harvest voyages include:
