Villa Vie Residences announced Legacy, the company's second residential cruise ship, which is expected to enter service in early 2029. The official unveiling will take place during the celebration of the second anniversary of the Villa Vie Odyssey.
"When we launched Odyssey, we set out to prove that residential cruises were not only possible but also sustainable. Two years later, with over 85% of Odyssey sold, we have reached an exciting milestone. Legacy is the natural evolution of everything we have learned from our residents and our operations worldwide," stated Mike Petterson, founder of Villa Vie Residences.
Designed as a luxury sister ship to the Odyssey, the Legacy is expected to feature residences approximately 50% larger than similar accommodations aboard the former, in addition to expanded dining options, larger public spaces, enhanced wellness facilities, and additional luxury amenities.
Legacy represents the next stage in Villa Vie's long-term strategy to develop a fleet of residential cruise ships that offer multiple ownership options and experiences, while maintaining the company's commitment to continuous worldwide travel.
"Our goal is not simply to build another ship. It is about building a fleet that offers residents more options and, at the same time, rewards those who believed in this vision from the beginning. Legacy is the first step towards that future," Petterson also indicated.
