The Indian-flagged cargo vessel Faize Noore Oliya capsized around 13 nautical miles off Hodeidah after being struck by a projectile on 4 August. Fortunately, all 14 crew members were rescued. No party has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

The vessel was sailing in the Red Sea off the western coast of Yemen on 4 August when it was hit. The impact caused it to overturn and capsize.
The crew consisted of one Yemeni national and 13 Indian nationals; all were rescued. The Yemeni National Resistance Forces (also known as the Guards of the Republic) stated that they had carried out a joint operation to rescue the distressed sailors.
Indian authorities have condemned the attack as "unprovoked" and said they are closely coordinating with Yemeni authorities for the safety and security of the crew. The Indian government has further described attacks on commercial shipping in the region as "deeply worrisome" and called for them to be halted in accordance with international law.
