The Public Companies System (SEP) accepted the resignations of members of the boards of directors of the Talcahuano San Vicente Port Company (Puertos de Talcahuano) and the Puerto Montt Port Company (Empormontt), appointing their respective replacements to complete the current terms.
In Puertos de Talcahuano, the SEP reported the departure of Juan Carlos Altmann Martin and appointed Ana Karina Vidal Soto as his replacement, who will hold the position from June 16, 2026, until October 2, 2029, under the same conditions as her predecessor.
With this change, the board of directors is now composed of Patricia Palacios Mackay as president, Rodrigo Monsalve Riquelme, Camila Balbontín Tahnun, and Jaime Bellolio Rodríguez as directors; in addition to Ana Vidal herself.
Meanwhile, in Empormontt, the resignation of María Francisca Sanz Yuraszeck was accepted, and Paula Bunster Raby was appointed as her replacement, taking office on June 16, 2026, and remaining in the position until October 2, 2029.
Following this change, the board of directors of the state-owned port company in the Los Lagos Region is comprised of Fernando Amenábar Morales as president, Javier Niklitschek Roa as vice president, Paula Bunster Raby as director, and Jessica Álvarez Vargas as the workers' representative.
The modifications were agreed upon by the SEP's Board of Directors at its session on June 11 and subsequently communicated to both companies through official letters issued on June 15.
