DP World and Lintara Properties, the real estate development platform of Arcapita Group Holdings, have commenced construction of a new 20,000 square meter custom-built logistics center in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).
The Grade A facility is being developed by Lintara Properties and will be operated by DP World as part of its integrated end-to-end supply chain network in the region. Construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
The new facilities will feature storage space with a clear height of approximately 12 meters, temperature-controlled areas, a dedicated sector for the storage of dangerous goods, supporting office space, and associated operational services.
Ahmad Yousef Al-Hassan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC, stated that "these modern facilities represent the type of logistics infrastructure our customers need to manage more complex supply chains. Once completed, these facilities will add prime, purpose-built warehousing capacity in Jafza and strengthen our ability to offer more integrated supply chain solutions across the GCC. It is another example of how Dubai's trade ecosystem continues to evolve in line with the needs of regional and international businesses."
Isa Al Khalifa, Managing Director and Head of MENA Real Estate at Arcapita, and CEO of Lintara Properties, added that "this milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality logistics assets, specifically designed to meet the operational needs of our tenants. The Jebel Ali Free Zone continues to be a key logistics hub in the region, and this project supports the growing demand for well-located, institutional-grade facilities that enable efficient distribution and long-term operational reliability."
Lintara Properties will act as the project manager during the construction phase and will assume asset management responsibilities upon completion of the work.
