A computer network outage has paralyzed operations at two terminals operated by Hutchison Ports in the Port of Rotterdam. Specifically, the disruption occurred at the ECT Delta and ECT Euromax facilities.
The facilities reported that "we are currently experiencing a disruption in our computer network and all operational activities at the ECT Delta and ECT Euromax terminals have been paralyzed."
"In view of the current situation, we do not expect operations at the terminals to resume before 8:00 PM -local time- today. At the moment, we cannot specify when the service disruption will be fully resolved," stated ECT Rotterdam.
The company assured that it would provide further updates on the situation that has halted operations at ECT Delta and ECT Euromax.
