Termination of Inland Peak Season Surcharge Import at Casablanca Rail terminal (MAASE)

Maersk announced the elimination of the temporary Peak Season IPI surcharge at Casablanca rail terminal (MAASE) effective June 10th 2026, as the situation has been normalized. The surcharge, which charged 1400 MAD per container for all dry containers, will be terminated on 10/06/2026 for both Non-FMC and FMC operations.

We want to inform you of an important update regarding your inland logistics services with our company towards Casablanca rail terminal (MAASE).

We are pleased to inform you that, as of June 10th 2026, the temporary Peak Season IPI surcharge will be eliminated, as the situation has been normalized.

Name: Inland Peak Season Surcharge Import (IPI)
Termination Date: 10/06/2026 Non-FMC // 10/06/2026 FMC
Rate: 1400 MAD per container (ALL DRY)
