Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) will have a new CEO starting June 1, 2026, when Kristian Durhuus will assume the position.
The new executive will arrive at the maritime terminal with a background in leadership and the commercial sector, having recently served as CEO of Molslinjen A/S and Øresundslinjen AB, as well as Chief Operating Officer at Copenhagen Airports A/S.
"We are pleased to welcome Kristian as the new CEO of Copenhagen Malmö Port. He has demonstrated a great ability to drive growth and transformation in complex organizations, combined with a clear business vision and an inclusive leadership style. At a time when we are focused on the growth and development of our business, Kristian represents a very valuable profile for CMP," stated Claus Juhl, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Copenhagen Malmö Port AB.
According to the company, Durhuus combines his experience in infrastructure and transport companies with a business vision and expertise in strategy, business development, digitalization, and green transition. He has also worked in international environments in organizations with diverse cultures and work teams.
