Puerto Panul reached a milestone by completing 365 days without accidents, a full year in which safety has been the result of the commitment, responsibility, and joint work of all individuals involved in the operation.
This achievement gains even greater significance considering that, during the same period, Puerto Panul reached historical cargo transfer records, demonstrating that it is possible to increase operational performance without losing sight of the well-being of people. To date, it has transferred 260 thousand tons more than in the same period last year.
The General Manager of Puerto Panul, Cristian Valenzuela, highlighted the work carried out by the entire organization, noting that this result reflects an an organizational culture where safety and operational excellence go hand in hand.
"This year has been particularly challenging and, at the same time, very satisfying. We managed to break our cargo transfer records and, in parallel, complete a year without accidents. This is a credit to each of our workers, who demonstrate daily that it is possible to achieve high performance standards while always maintaining safety as a priority," declared Valenzuela.
"We thank every worker for making this important milestone possible. We will continue to strengthen a preventive culture that allows us to advance safely, responsibly, and sustainably," added the executive.
