The Port of Colombo (Sri Lanka) received a visit from a World Bank delegation. Specifically, the meeting focused on touring the facilities of the Colombo International Container Terminal (CICT).
In a brief press release, CICT reported that the institution's delegation was led by Nicolas Peltier, who serves as the World Bank's Global Director of Transport.
Furthermore, it was reported that "the visit highlighted CICT's fundamental role as a key facilitator of sustainable and efficient maritime logistics in the region."
"We deeply value the World Bank's interest in CICT's trajectory and look forward to exploring future collaboration opportunities that support resilient and future-ready port ecosystems," the circular concluded.
