Committed to the training of future professionals in the maritime sector, the National Port System Administration Manzanillo (ASIPONA) welcomed first-year students from the Naval Machinery School of the Mexican Navy Secretariat.
As part of this activity, the students toured the port facilities with the purpose of closely understanding its operation, infrastructure, and the main processes that enable the movement of maritime trade.
Personnel from the port administration explained to the students the importance of the different activities that make up the port's operation and its contribution to the national and international logistics chain.
According to those responsible for the visit from the Naval Machinery School, this type of experience strengthens student learning and brings new generations closer to the maritime-port sector, promoting the development of talent that will contribute to the country's growth.
As part of its commitment to the development of the sector, ASIPONA Manzanillo continuously strengthens its ties with schools and educational institutions, convinced that bringing young people closer to the port environment fosters interest in this strategic activity and contributes to the training of professionals who, in the future, will drive the development of Mexico's ports.
