The Supervisory Agency for Investment in Public Transport Infrastructure (Ositrán) reported that users, guilds, service providers, and interested parties in general may submit comments, opinions, and suggestions on the proposed modification of the Regulations for Users of Public Transport Infrastructure until August 14, 2026.
As part of this participatory process, Ositrán held a hybrid public hearing, where it presented the main scope of the regulatory proposal. The activity included the participation of users, representatives of various service providers, consumer and user associations, and citizens in general.
This hearing is part of the actions promoted by the Regulator to guarantee an open, transparent, and participatory regulatory process, encouraging the involvement of the different actors linked to the sector, prior to the approval of the modification of the aforementioned Regulations.
The proposed modification seeks to strengthen the protection of user rights and adapt the regulation to the needs identified during the application of the current standard. To this end, it incorporates the experience accumulated by Ositrán, the contributions obtained during the execution of public consultations, and the evaluation of the cases presented.
