The Board of Directors (CONSAD) of Portos do Paraná approved the 2025 Sustainability Report this Monday (27). The document fulfills a formal requirement for the public company's operations, but also gathers information on developed activities, focusing on good practices, operational results, and awards achieved.
With active participation from the port community, the report will be available in Portuguese and English versions. "The Ports of Paranaguá and Antonina have been evolving year by year in their operations, and this report highlights this progress, without neglecting environmental concerns. The document's preparation follows international standards," emphasized CEO Luiz Fernando Garcia.
The 2025 version was prepared by the Governance Superintendence, in partnership with the Strategic Planning Management (Gplanes). "More than presenting good sustainability practices, this report is a portfolio of our socio-environmental and governance actions and, mainly, of the results obtained and awards won during the year," stated Bruna Nicolau, Superintendent of Governance.
According to Bruna, the 2025 Sustainability Report follows the Global Reporting Initiative methodology, an international reference for disclosing sustainable practices, in addition to having assurance from external auditors, ensuring data reliability.
According to Gplanes advisor Renata Aguiar, the document is multi-sectoral and had broad participation from different areas of Portos do Paraná. "All areas had active participation, submitting their information, evidence, and proof for each topic in detail. Thus, we consolidated our tactical, strategic, and operational results," she explained.
Renata also highlighted that the report consolidates initiatives and increases institutional transparency regarding highlights, actions, and projects, from both an environmental and operational and administrative perspective. "One of the main pieces of evidence in the 2025 edition is the review and update of our materiality matrix, which follows a biennial cycle and incorporates the perceptions of 14 stakeholders and management on the most relevant topics," she emphasized.

As in previous years, the 2025 Sustainability Report is available on the Portos do Paraná website. The full document will bear the UN Global Compact seal, in which the company became a participant starting in 2025. "It is another way to reaffirm Portos do Paraná's institutional commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)," concluded Bruna.
