The Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) revoked an injunction that had suspended the contract for the implementation of a logistics park in the Saboó area, located on the right bank of the Port of Santos.
"The decision was adopted by the TCU plenary, considering that there are no indications of harm to the public treasury that justify the previously granted injunction," reported the Port Authority of Santos (APS).
"Last week, on August 13, the National Agency for Waterway Transportation (Antaq) had also ruled in favor of the concession process for the area carried out by the APS," it added.
The logistics park in Saboó, which covers an area of 242,000 m2, aims to implement a flow regulation pre-port with an initial capacity for 400 trucks.
"The objective is to organize heavy vehicle traffic, mitigate road congestion, and offer rest areas and services for drivers," specified the APS.
"The APS is confident that, after the rulings issued and the exhaustive analysis of the technical and legal background, the tender will be similarly validated by the Federal Justice," it concluded.
