On November 2, 3, and 4, Terminal Pacífico Sur Valparaíso received the first vessels of this cruise period. Between November and March, there will be 15 calls at TPS, six of which will arrive in February 2027.

November began with significant cruise activity at TPS: the concessionaire of the Port of Valparaíso welcomed three passenger ships on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of the penultimate month of the year, initiating a season that will feature 15 vessels and extend until mid-March of next year.

On Monday afternoon, the cruise ship Le Lyrial, 142 meters in length, arrived at TPS, handling 179 people, including those embarking, disembarking, and in transit. On Tuesday, November 3, the cruise ship Silver Cloud, from Silver Cruises, called at TPS, arriving from Juan Fernández Island and handling approximately 450 people. Wednesday, November 4, saw the arrival of Le Austral, with 300 passengers, belonging to Compagnie Du Ponant, a cruise line that debuted in Valparaíso in 2024.

Cristian Rodríguez, general manager of TPS, commented: “With the three calls this week, we are kicking off a passenger season that we hope will be very positive. It will be similar to last year's in terms of the number of calls, but there are always novelties, such as the cruise ship Queen Anne, which will come to Valparaíso for the first time on a transatlantic voyage next February; or the vessel Amadea, which will also visit for the first time and is famous for being the setting of a television series in Germany. The most important thing is that Valparaíso will receive visitors from all over the world during these coming months, so we hope to welcome them with the quality and service accustomed at TPS.”

The largest vessel of the season will be the Majestic Princess, arriving next December, with a length of 330 meters and a capacity for 3,500 passengers. February will be the month with the highest number of calls, concentrating six passenger ship arrivals.
