Ecuadorian mango exports reached approximately USD 1.45 million during the first half of 2026, compared to USD 554,000 recorded in the same period of 2025. This result represents a 162.3% growth in export value.
The volume of mango shipped abroad increased by 15.7% during the period, while the United States accounted for approximately 77% of the sales value. Ecuador also identifies diversification opportunities towards markets such as Chile, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, and Singapore.
The growth of mango exports is part of the advancement of non-traditional fruit exports, along with products such as blueberries, passion fruit, and avocado. Access to new markets requires maintaining quality standards, phytosanitary controls, and adequate conservation and transport conditions.
