The National Customs Service of Ecuador (SENAE) certified 15 companies as Authorized Economic Operators (AEO), after fulfilling the established requirements. This accreditation seeks to strengthen the security of the logistics chain and the competitiveness of Ecuadorian foreign trade.
The certification offers benefits such as the streamlining of customs procedures, the reduction of physical and documentary inspections, and greater trust in international commercial operations. These measures contribute to facilitating the movement of goods and optimizing import and export processes.
The event took place at the Gobernación del Azuay, in Cuenca, with the participation of national and local authorities, as well as business representatives. During the day, the Commitment for Legality and Fair Trade in Azuay was signed, and Ecuador reached a total of 53 companies certified as AEO.
