The arrival of larger capacity vessels and the concentration of thousands of movements in increasingly demanding operational windows force terminals to gain speed, coordination, and anticipation capacity. To meet this challenge, Boluda Shipping will incorporate a digital platform into its Tenerife terminal that, via an APP, will optimize land access to the terminal for transporters and logistics operators, minimizing waiting times and overloads.
To achieve this, it has relied on Pulse Mobile technology, developed by TMEIC, a company specializing in the development of advanced automation systems for industries and ports. The system will act from the moment transport companies receive an order to pick up or deliver cargo, initiating a workflow that includes everything from validating operational information, incident management, terminal access, and land operations, to exiting the facilities.
In this way, the terminal will be able to better organize its truck entry flows, reduce bottlenecks, and offer more predictable operations at its access points. The new process will allow key operational and access control processes to be moved to earlier stages, resolving up to 80% of incidents before trucks reach the access gate and facilitating a more efficient flow.
This technological investment responds to a commitment to efficiency, the environment, people, and customers. Less waiting means fewer idling engines and fewer emissions into the atmosphere.
This initiative is especially relevant for BMT Tenerife, which serves large container ships, including Ultra Large Container Vessels (ULCVs). The scale of these vessels increases pressure on access, the yard, and coordination with land transport. Pulse Mobile will help absorb these activity peaks and maintain a reliable, agile, and competitive service.

Real-time connectivity improves coordination and decision-making, reduces errors, provides a complete transaction history, and eliminates the use of paper documentation. In addition, it allows integration with terminal operating systems (TOS), port community systems (PCS), and other existing Boluda platforms.
