The TPS Docking Hygiene and Safety Joint Committee was awarded at a national level, while the HSE Manager received the regional award. The IST highlighted the collaborative work with the company and port workers for this achievement.

Terminal Pacífico Sur Valparaíso received two important distinctions in prevention at the annual awards ceremony granted by the IST to companies and individuals who have achieved the highest standards in preventive management.

These include the "Outstanding Management Joint Committee 2026" award, which recognizes the CPHS for contributing to the health and safety of all workers through high-value work; and the "Prevention Management Distinction 2026," awarded to Carlos Vásquez Inda, TPS's HSE Manager, for significantly collaborating in preventive activities that have had a major impact on the company's achievements in preventing workplace accidents.

Juan Carlos Rojas, president of the TPS Docking Hygiene and Safety Joint Committee, the entity that received the national award, stated: "For us, the safety and lives of people are above any operation. In this regard, operational work and our daily presence have been key: being there allows us to understand the reality of the operation and connect with the true needs of the workers."

Carlos Vásquez, TPS's HSE Manager, awarded the Prevention Management 2026 prize, emphasized that "in a highly complex operational environment, where port equipment, vehicles, contractors, and in-house personnel converge, safety is a strategic pillar for sustainability and for our operational excellence; therefore, this award is a recognition of the management model we have developed, based on strategic focuses and goal achievement towards a safe, reliable, and accident-free operation."

Ximena Cerpa, Deputy Prevention Manager of IST's Central Zonal Management, commented: "We are proud to accompany TPS in this process and to be part of this strategic alliance in caring for lives and working towards a preventive culture. This is a collaborative effort among the various areas and departments of TPS: union leaders, management, workers, and committees, which reflects the good work of all these years, so we are happy that they have been recognized nationally and regionally among many participating organizations."
