Six agents from the Port Police of PortCastelló are participating, for the first time in the port's history, in an approved course from the Valencian Institute of Public Safety and Emergencies (IVASPE) on 'Alcohol and Drug Detection', a training aimed at both local police and port police.
This initiative represents a significant advance in the specialized training of the Port Police and is the result of efforts made between the Port Authority of Castellón and the Generalitat Valenciana, through IVASPE, with the aim of expanding the training offer available to Port Police personnel and security and emergency services.
With this course, and thanks to institutional collaboration, PortCastelló is committed to specialized, continuous training adapted to the new needs of society, while contributing to improving the capabilities of the Port Police to respond with maximum efficiency to the security challenges posed by port activity.
The training will allow agents to stay updated in areas such as new technologies, operational security, emergency management, and police techniques, essential knowledge to confidently face current challenges and offer an effective response to situations that may arise in the port area.
