The Sapphire Princess, from Princess Cruises, made its first call at the Port of Quebec, in Canada.
The ship, which measures 290 meters in length and can accommodate approximately 2,670 passengers, will make three calls in Quebec this year, as part of its itineraries departing from the Port of Boston, in the United States.
At this time, a traditional plaque exchange was held with the ship's captain, Mario Juresko, to mark this first voyage to the Port of Quebec.
On the same day, the Port of Quebec celebrated another historic milestone, by welcoming its 3 millionth cruise passenger. They are Chantal and Jean, from Trois-Rivières, who arrived precisely aboard the Sapphire Princess.
The couple was welcomed by the Canadian terminal authorities to mark this special moment.
