Valiant Lady marks Virgin Voyages' inaugural Hamburg call

The inaugural visit marks Virgin Voyages' debut in the Hanseatic city.

A maritime welcome programme accompanied Valiant Lady's inaugural visit with the ship escorted by a firefighting vessel with water salute on Monday and passengers welcomed at the terminal today by a traditional shanty choir.

The inaugural call is one of nine maiden calls scheduled in the German port city during 2026. A further three maiden calls are expected before the end of the year. In total, almost 330 cruise ship calls are scheduled across Hamburg's three cruise terminals this year.
