MSC to Launch Catalina Sugar Beach Private Destination in November 2026

MSC Cruises announced the opening of Catalina Sugar Beach, a new private destination on Catalina Island off La Romana, Dominican Republic, scheduled for November 2026. Operating in partnership with CTL Maritime and Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, the destination will feature dining pavilions, bars, water sports center, cabanas, and upgraded facilities. The MSC Opera will operate weekly seven-night sailings from La Romana, marking the cruise line's first year-round service in the Southern Caribbean.
