Manta Port Terminal (TPM) received, for the tenth consecutive year, the international Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) certification, a standard that promotes secure trade through the implementation of management systems in control and security.
The Ecuadorian maritime facility stated that it is "a recognition that supports our ongoing work in prevention and the strengthening of our processes."
"This important certification allows us to continue consolidating preventive management against risks such as drug trafficking, terrorism, money laundering, corruption, bribery, and other crimes associated with international trade," highlighted TPM.
"At TPM, we emphasize that this achievement is the result of the work of a highly efficient, dedicated, and committed team focused on continuous improvement, to provide increasingly secure and reliable operations," affirmed the port operator.
