DP World San Antonio Restructures Financial Functions in Santiago

DP World San Antonio announced a restructuring of its administrative composition. The decision was made after a review conducted by the finance team.

Through a statement, the company reported that it "has decided to integrate certain financial functions, previously carried out locally in its San Antonio business units, into Santiago. This measure seeks to have a simpler, more coordinated, and efficient structure, while strengthening the management of financial processes."

"As a consequence of this reorganization, some positions will cease to exist, and some individuals have had to leave the company," it was indicated.

Furthermore, the circular emphasized that "the restructuring responds exclusively to organizational reasons and seeks to simplify the structure, avoid duplications between business units and corporate areas, and strengthen the coordination and efficiency of financial processes."

"The process has been carried out in accordance with current labor legislation and the corresponding obligations of the company," detailed the port operator.

Finally, it was added that "DP World in San Antonio will continue to work to ensure an orderly transition, maintain the continuity of its operations, and strengthen a financial structure that adequately responds to the current and future needs of the business," the letter concluded.
