Konecranes and APM Terminals Maasvlakte II celebrated the official delivery of the 1,000th Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV).

When designing Maasvlakte II, APM Terminals adopted a terminal concept where automated and electrified equipment, software, and operational processes work together as an integrated system. The large-scale implementation of AGV technology became a fundamental part of the new terminal's automated container handling concept.
