Brasília, 10/05/2026 – The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (ANTAQ) held the 33rd Port Performance System (SDP) Meeting on September 24 and 25. Organized by the Statistics and Performance Evaluation Management (GEA), the event took place in Santa Catarina, with the support of Porto Itapoá, and gathered around 130 participants, representing 60 port facilities.
Held annually, the meeting promotes the exchange of experiences among port facilities, especially regarding the use of the Port Performance System. Through the SDP, facilities submit data related to cargo movement, which serves as input for the information available in ANTAQ's Waterway Statistician.
At each edition, a different port facility hosts the event, allowing participants to learn about different realities, experiences, and practices adopted by the Brazilian port sector.
New Port Performance System
In this edition, one of the main topics on the agenda was the presentation of the new Port Performance System.
Participants learned about the new layout and organization of the SDP's functionalities, as well as features related to user management and data submission, which can be done by filling out the system itself or by sending an XML file.
The agenda also addressed the Port Price Monitoring Module (Módulo APP). During the meeting, a spreadsheet aimed at applying the module's fundamental concepts by the terminals was presented.
The Port Performance System Meeting contributes to the updating of participants and the exchange of experiences on the submission and quality of data that support the statistical information of the waterway sector.
The new SDP is expected to go live in October 2026, re-establishing the normal flow of data submission by port facilities. Information and updates for the re-implementation schedule, with the necessary actions for data submission, can be requested from the Statistics and Performance Evaluation Management (GEA) via the email desempenhoportuario@antaq.gov.br.
