DP World San Antonio has resumed SAG operations for category 3 and 4 cargo, strengthening its capacity to handle plant and animal products subject to inspection and control.
"The operation takes place in a specially equipped facility to comply with the processes established by the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG), allowing this type of cargo to be handled regularly and maintaining operational continuity for clients," communicated the concessionaire of the Port of San Antonio.
For her part, Stephenie Dewulf, Commercial Manager of DP World San Antonio, stated that "Resuming this operation allows us to continue expanding the solutions we provide to our clients and respond efficiently to the requirements of this type of cargo."
"Our focus is on ensuring service continuity and, at the same time, advancing with definitive infrastructure that strengthens our long-term service capacity," she added.
In parallel, DP World in San Antonio continues to advance in the development of definitive infrastructure aimed at strengthening its service capacity and providing better conditions for the inspection and control of these cargoes.
"While this project is underway, SAG operations will continue normally, without impacts for clients or for the continuity of services," specified the concessionaire.
"With this measure, DP World in San Antonio reaffirms its commitment to an efficient, safe operation aimed at responding to the needs of the logistics chain and foreign trade," concluded the letter.
