Michels secured a progressive design-build contract for the construction of the SeaPoint Industrial Terminal complex, a fully private, 226-acre multi-purpose maritime terminal in Savannah, Georgia.
The new SeaPoint terminal, which is part of the 755-acre SeaPoint complex, will be the closest to the Atlantic Ocean in the Port of Savannah and will have no draft restrictions.
Construction will include 3,000 feet of dock at a channel depth of 14 meters.
Construction is set to begin in 2027.
