The Port of Maracaibo ( Venezuela) closed the month of August with the arrival of 13 vessels and the mobilization of 54,909 tons of merchandise.
In this regard, the Ministry of Popular Power for Transport added that "among the notable maneuvers, the port served as a platform for the special cabotage operation of the vessel 'El Victorioso', through which specialized heavy machinery was embarked for support and debris removal tasks in the affected areas of La Guaira state after the seismic doublet recorded on June 24."
Regarding foreign trade, it was reported that "the Port of Maracaibo reaffirmed its strategic role in the national productive engine by projecting 2,948 tons of containerized merchandise and general cargo to international markets. This export offering positions Venezuelan agro-industrial quality through the shipment of seafood and agricultural products such as shrimp, blue crab, fish, and fresh bananas."
"With excellent performance, 4,093 TEUs were mobilized, demonstrating the operational capacity of the infrastructure and the commitment of the workforce. Bolipuertos continues to be the logistical engine of the nation, driven by the efficiency, commitment, and immediate response of its human team," the publication concluded.
