Everllence signed long-term service agreements (LTSA) with the German ferry operator TT-Line for two new RoPax vessels currently under construction at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu).
Andreas Schaerli, TT-Line's Chief Operating Officer, stated that "the discussions were open, constructive, and goal-oriented, with high system availability, planning certainty, and a clear definition of services being particularly important aspects for TT-Line. The decisive factors for us were, in particular, Everllence's technical competence, its deep service knowledge, and its willingness to transform our requirements into sustainable solutions in collaboration."
The alliance also involves two other vessels from TT-Line's existing fleet, the Nils Holgersson, which entered service in 2022, and Peter Pan (2023), both also built by China Merchants.
The Nils Holgersson and Peter Pan vessels are each equipped with 2 x 6L51/60 DF engines + 2 x 8L51/60 DF engines with Everllence propulsion systems.
Similarly, the new RoPax vessels will feature 4 x 6L49/60DF engines, as well as advanced and integrated Everllence propulsion systems comprising double-input, single-output gearboxes; Everllence Alpha controllable pitch propeller systems; an Everllence liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply system; an electrical package including a DC switchboard, a power management system, and a battery energy storage system.
These new vessels are scheduled to enter commercial operation in 2030 and 2031, respectively, and will sail the Baltic Sea between Germany and Sweden.
