The Chinese shipyard Taizhou Maple Leaf launched the Carlotta Cosulich, a new IMO II fuel tanker for Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy. The vessel is prepared for methanol transport and is the third of four identical units that the company commissioned from the shipbuilder.
The company stated that "designed with MarineLINE coated cargo tanks and methanol-ready from the outset, Carlotta Cosulich combines operational flexibility with the ability to use future fuels."
"Equipped with a 5-ton cargo crane and specific systems for single point mooring (SPM) operations, its versatility extends to a wider range of bunkering operations," Fratelli Cosulich affirmed.
"Following the successful delivery of its two sister vessels, this vessel brings us one step closer to the completion of this four-vessel program and reinforces Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy's commitment to safety, innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence," the company assured.
