We are pleased to share that Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd, will re-launch the FM1 service, strengthening our connectivity between Asia and Middle East through the following rotation:
Qingdao – Ningbo – Tanjung Pelepas – Khor Fakkan – Singapore - Qingdao
The first sailing on the re-launched FM1 will be Maersk Athabasca voyage 642W, scheduled to depart Qingdao on 17 October and arrive at Khor Fakkan on 16 November.
The FM1 re-launch provides customers with additional direct ocean connectivity to Khor Fakkan, while we continue to operate with the necessary precautions across the Middle East. Existing booking restrictions and cargo acceptance guidelines remain applicable. Maersk’s existing landside solutions will complement the re-launched service and ensure we are able to serve the Upper Gulf.
Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd will continue to closely monitor the security situation across the Middle East. Any changes to services within the Gemini Cooperation will remain subject to developments in the region. The safety of our crews, vessels and customers’ cargo remains our highest priority.
We appreciate your continued trust and partnership and remain committed to supporting your supply chain throughout this period.
