Effective November 16, 2026, we will increase the Emergency Intermodal Fuel Surcharge in response to recent increases in diesel fuel prices.
The surcharge applies to cargo moving between an inland rail ramp or container yard and an ocean terminal in the United States or Canada, including CY and SD cargo. For SD cargo, this charge is separate from any inland fuel charges associated with pickup or delivery.
The new charge levels will be:
| Trade Direction | Dry Container | Reefer Container |
|---|---|---|
| World to U.S. & Canada | $350 USD | $400 USD |
| U.S. & Canada to World | $125 USD | $175 USD |
The billing descriptions will remain unchanged: Emergency Operational Cost Recovery for imports and Emergency Operational Cost Exports for exports.
We appreciate your ongoing partnership and remain committed to supporting your supply chain needs as we navigate evolving operational conditions.
