Yang Ming announced the official naming and delivery of its third eco-friendly dual-fuel LNG vessel, named YM Wayfinder.
The low-carbon transition journey has already begun for the shipping company, as the first two vessels in this series successfully entered service using LNG as their primary fuel on their maiden voyages.
Yang Ming highlights the steps it has taken to drive the ecological transition. The first is achieving nearly a 20% reduction in greenhouse gases compared to conventional fuel oil.
Furthermore, the shipping company emphasizes that over 11,158 tons of LNG have been stored so far by its sister ships, reducing 12,532 tons of greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional fuel.
Finally, Yang Ming highlights that it is already connecting the world through its low-carbon transport services, YM EcoSea+.
Starting July 1st, the YM Wayfinder will officially join Yang Ming's FE3 service, connecting Asia with Northwest Europe with maximum efficiency and ecological care, with a full port rotation of Qingdao; Ningbo; Yantian; Singapore; Felixstowe; Antwerp and Hamburg.
