Implementation of Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Far East Asia to North Europe and Mediterranean (E1W/E2W)

Maersk announced the implementation of Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for Far East Asia (excluding Korea, South) to North Europe and Mediterranean routes, effective from 10th Jun 2026. Korea, South origin applies the same surcharge from 25th Jun 2026. Rates range from USD 300 for 20' containers to USD 600 for 40' & 45' containers, with EUR 260 and EUR 520 respectively for Syria destinations. The surcharge applies to all equipment types.
