Cruise Ship Activity in Panama Grows 21.6% in First Seven Months

Between January and July 2026, Panama's National Port System recorded 488,567 cruise passengers, a 21.6% increase compared to the same period in 2025. A total of 143 cruise ship arrivals were registered (up 20.1%), while transit passengers increased by 10.2% and crew members by 20.2%. Ports are preparing for the 2026-2027 season, which will begin in October.
