Panama Canal Exceeds 10,623 Deep-Draft Transits in 112 Years
The Panama Canal commemorated 112 years with 10,623 deep-draft vessel transits between October 2025 and July 2026, registering a growth of 6.12% compared to the previous fiscal period. The interoceanic waterway is promoting expansion projects such as the Río Indio Lake, the Corozal and Telfers terminals, and the Energy Corridor. It also maintains water management measures in response to El Niño conditions to preserve the operation of this strategic route.
