Mincetur Activates New Restricted Goods Component in Vuce

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) has launched the new "Restricted Goods" component of the Single Window for Foreign Trade (Vuce), with the incorporation of three procedures and the elimination of one from the Peruvian Institute of Nuclear Energy (IPEN).

This technological update represents a qualitative leap in the digitalization of authorization and certification procedures for import, export, and transit operations of goods.

The implementation will be progressive and will extend to the other public entities that integrate Vuce, within the framework of a comprehensive modernization strategy that seeks to reduce times, costs, and administrative barriers for foreign trade operators, strengthening the country's competitiveness in global markets.

Modernization with a user focus

The new "Restricted Goods" component optimizes the user experience through complementary tools that are already operational. Among them:

• The Vuce account, which enhances security with robust authentication mechanisms.
• A new electronic mailbox, which presents notifications and messages clearly, orderly, and accessibly.
• A new Payment Gateway, which facilitates the payment of fees, refunds, and settlements of bank payment codes (CPB) interoperable with Sunat.

It is projected that the implementation of these transversal solutions will allow Vuce to process more than 7.6 million operations annually in an agile and secure manner.

Currently, the Restricted Goods component handles 60% of all procedures managed in Vuce, with over 130,000 registered users (who will be the most benefited) and more than 4.9 million electronic transactions processed.

Furthermore, it maintains interoperability with 20 public entities, allowing for agile and coordinated digital processing of the sectoral authorizations required in commercial operations.

With this measure, Mincetur reaffirms its commitment to the continuous improvement of public services and the facilitation of foreign trade, essential pillars for Peru's competitiveness and sustainable development.

Mincetur approved Ministerial Resolution N.º 311-2026, which provides for the elimination of an administrative procedure and the incorporation of administrative procedures from the Peruvian Institute of Nuclear Energy - IPEN into the Restricted Goods Component of the Single Window for Foreign Trade (Vuce).
