Mincetur continues to present the National Multisectoral Foreign Trade Policy to 2040 in regions.
Lima, May 13.
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) continues with the presentation of the National Multisectoral Foreign Trade Policy (PNMCE) to 2040 in various regions, with the aim of identifying new opportunities that promote the country's exportable supply and facilitate the insertion of companies into international markets.
The National Multisectoral Foreign Trade Policy constitutes a roadmap that will guide the State's actions to consolidate international trade as one of the main drivers of sustainable growth, job creation, and the development of opportunities in the country.
By the end of April, 16 events had been held that allowed the National Multisectoral Foreign Trade Policy to be presented in different regions of the country, including the Lima Region, Piura, Lambayeque, Ayacucho, Tacna, La Libertad, San Martín, Huánuco, Ica, Áncash, Puno, Apurímac, Arequipa, Amazonas, Junín (Satipo), Cajamarca, and Cusco.

During May, the sector will present the National Multisectoral Foreign Trade Policy in six new regions: Ucayali (May 14), Pasco (May 15), Junín (Huancayo, May 19), Huancavelica (May 20), Madre de Dios (May 26), and Loreto (May 28).
These spaces provide information on the updating process of the Regional Export Plans (PERX), guiding instruments that contribute to the decentralization of foreign trade actions to ensure the development of regional potential.
It should be noted that both the National Multisectoral Foreign Trade Policy and the Regional Export Plans are initiatives that seek to articulate foreign trade actions among public, private, and academic actors to promote economic development at the national level.
To date, the regions of Áncash, Huánuco, Ayacucho, La Libertad, and Tacna have formally expressed to Mincetur their commitment to initiate the process of updating their PERX. In this regard, coordination actions are being carried out for the development and execution of the work plans for these regions.
