In a working meeting aimed at strengthening inter-institutional articulation and providing a rapid response to the country's logistical and humanitarian needs, the Vice Minister of Transport, Gabriela Carrasco Carrasco, and the Vice Minister of Resources for Defense, Darwin Eufracio León, addressed important issues to optimize national road and logistics infrastructure.
During the meeting, Vice Minister Gabriela Carrasco highlighted the commitment of the Transport sector to facilitate the operations of the Armed Forces. Finally, the authorities agreed on a forthcoming working meeting between both vice ministries within the framework of the multisectoral commission in charge of prevention against the El Niño Phenomenon (FEN), where preventive and response actions to eventual climatic contingencies will be monitored.
