APN and COSCO Shipping Coordinate Strategy for Chancay Terminal

The National Port Authority (APN), an entity ascribed to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), held an institutional meeting with senior executives from Cosco Shipping Corporation Limited (Shanghai), Cosco Shipping Ports Limited (Hong Kong), and Cosco Shipping Ports Chancay Perú. The main objective of the meeting was to address key issues related to the development, management, and operation of the Chancay Multipurpose Port Terminal.

This megaproject is consolidating as a fundamental logistical infrastructure for Peru's port and economic growth. Its implementation will optimize the direct commercial connection between South America and the main markets of the Asian continent, boosting exports and imports, attracting new investments, and strengthening regional integration.
