The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS), through the National Superintendence of State Assets (SBN), identified 1,211 hectares in Chancay, corresponding to six strategic properties with the potential to drive new investments and boost the local economy.
This intervention will provide updated information on the situation, availability, and characteristics of these properties, located in a strategic area due to their proximity to the port of Chancay, and will allow for the evaluation of their use for future public and private investments.
"Chancay is a strategic area for the country's development. From the Ministry of Housing, we are working to enhance the value of state lands and create the conditions for them to become opportunities for investment, employment, and development for the population," said the Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Mauricio Arnillas.
To carry out the cadastral survey, technical teams used high-precision drone technology and executed 18 aerial photogrammetric flight plans, which allowed for obtaining high-resolution images and completing the technical inspection of more than 1,300 hectares.
The information obtained will allow for the evaluation, in accordance with the current legal framework, of mechanisms for the eventual disposal of strategic properties, including sale by public auction. In addition, the graphic material will contribute to strengthening the protection of state lands against possible invasions or informal occupations.
With these actions, the Ministry of Housing stated that it strengthens the management of state assets and promotes efficient land use that contributes to the economic development and sustainable growth of Chancay.
