The Private Investment Promotion Agency (Proinversión) and the Peruvian Navy signed a Technical Assistance Agreement to identify, prioritize, and evaluate potential private investment projects in certain properties and real estate of the naval institution, under the Assets Projects modality.
The agreement will provide Proinversión's technical support in the different stages of evaluation, planning, structuring, and design of initiatives aimed at the strategic utilization of certain institutional assets, in accordance with current regulations.
The document was signed by the Executive President of Proinversión, Luis Del Carpio Castro, and the Director of Property and Real Estate Management of the Peruvian Navy, Rear Admiral Edgar Moreno Cedamanos, who highlighted the importance of strengthening inter-institutional coordination to evaluate alternatives that generate economic and social value for the benefit of the country.
It should be noted that the signing of this agreement does not imply the award of a private investment or commit to the execution of a specific project. Its purpose is to establish a framework for technical cooperation that allows identifying assets with potential and, if applicable, developing and structuring future investment initiatives.
The Assets Projects modality is a mechanism that allows public entities to evaluate alternatives for the utilization of certain assets they own, through initiatives that contribute to generating value, within the established legal framework.
With this initiative, the Peruvian Navy reaffirms its commitment to efficient and strategic management of its institutional heritage, promoting cooperation mechanisms that contribute to national development and the fulfillment of its institutional objectives.
