MSC World Asia Concludes Final Sea Trials Before December Inaugural Voyage
MSC Cruises' MSC World Asia completed its final sea trials in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of France, successfully testing engines, maneuverability, fuel efficiency, safety systems, speed and stopping distances. The vessel will be officially named on November 28 in Le Havre, France, and will embark on its inaugural seven-night voyage on December 4, departing from Barcelona with Mediterranean itineraries including Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina and Valletta.
