Congestion Fee Destination (CFD)
Maersk introduced the Congestion Fee Destination (CFD) for shipments from World to Abidjan, Ivory Coast, effective 22nd June 2026 for Non FMC Regulated countries and Vietnam, and 6th July 2026 for FMC Regulated Countries and Brazil. The surcharge applies USD 300 for 20ft containers, USD 600 for 40ft and 45ft containers. Rates are calculated based on Price Calculation Date (PCD) for non-spot bookings and first vessel ETD for spot bookings.
