Exports Through Chancay Megaport Exceed $3.5 Billion One Year After Inauguration

China's Ambassador to Peru, Song Yang, highlighted that one year into the Chancay megaport's operations, managed exports have surpassed $3.5 billion, while tax revenue for the Peruvian state exceeds 1 billion soles. The diplomat emphasized that the port is operating "above expectations" and generating local employment, with over 50% of its workers coming from the city of Chancay.
