PortCastelló expands its hinterland to 600 kilometers with new rail and intermodal connection
The director of the Port Authority of Castellón, Manuel J. García, presented three key investments to expand the port. With the rail access and the Intermodal Station planned for June 2027, PortCastelló will extend its hinterland from 375 to 600 kilometers, connecting 26 provinces instead of 6. The rail access project has a budget of 325 million euros, of which 90 million euros are contributed by the Port Authority of Castellón.
