DP World is driving its expansion in the Americas through projects to expand and modernize its port terminals in the region. The initiatives in Callao, Peru; Posorja, Ecuador; Santos, Brazil; and Buenos Aires, Argentina, seek to increase operational capacity and strengthen maritime connectivity.

In Posorja, the company expanded its pier and operates with seven gantry cranes, having moved over one million TEUs. In Callao, planning for a third expansion phase is underway to increase infrastructure and berthing capacity.

The strategy involves integrating its 14 terminals under a regional network to facilitate the coordination of operations and berthing windows between different ports. With these investments, DP World seeks to strengthen logistical efficiency, expand port connectivity, and respond to the growth of international maritime trade.
